I long to possess the talent of the world's greatest literary voices—to be able to say so poignantly what needs to be said, to have the ability to weave a story so intricately and beautifully that it lingers in hearts, and impacts people so profoundly that the work becomes legendary and the author becomes a legend. (I also wish I could sing, play an instrument, and paint like Renoir). Oh well....
Instead, here I sit and sigh at that realization that I am still a work in progress. But, at least I can feed off the words of others, and from their work, ignite the spark for life and love that slowly burns deep within until it becomes a white hot, glorious fire. My inspiration today—Victor Hugo from Les Miserables:
Glory B's unifies all of what I love most—the earth and its natural elements like stone and wood; the creative arts, whether through the written word, or photography, or paint; and helping others to make the world a better place.
